Meet our unique youth addiction treatment & recovery program
At the start of the clients stay we create a personal treatment plan. In 8 weeks time you will join an intensive group program on a daily basis and will speak frequently in individual sessions with your personal therapist. Via different kind of therapies you’ll learn to break with negative patterns and unhealthy habits, and work on a stable future as an independent and free adult.
What kind of therapies can you expect in rehab?
During your stay in The Grange Youth Clinic you will follow group and individual therapy sessions on a daily basis. What to expect? Psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, community group, mindfulness, and lifestyle groups are a part of your daily schedule. As well as alternative sports activities and outings in and around Cape Town. The client is following different kind of therapies in small groups of young adults who face their own kind of challenges in life. Learning from experts and each other this is an experience will benefit the client longterm in life.
The role of the family in our rehab program
One of the unique features of our program is the role of clients family. The client starts working on themselves at first, up to the point where the family joins the facility in week 5 of the program. Within their stay of one week they will work as a family together on dysfunctional relationships, unhealthy dynamics and triggers that could cause relapse as soon as you come home. By taking this road together they can build a strong support system and help encourage them to be actively involved in your recovery. Together they can break negative patterns and create an open environment with space for healthy relationships in the long run.
